Sunday morning spent tinkering with poems and fragments of poems written late the previous evening - concrete poems, handwritten poems, 18th century rip offs - mash 'em up, spit 'em out, blog 'em!
Poetic detritus, maybe...but crucial to the process, the ongoing mental experiment, the eternal ravaging of mind by thought. Here's a thought:
We are all God thoughts...and, just as our thoughts are not us, but inseparable parts of us with their own independent, free-wheeling, free-willing ways (which can only rest through a process of stilling) ...we are indistinguishable from God when we rest in Him, surrender our ears and eyes to Him. And yet we are distinct and free to create all sorts of vanity and delusion, evil even.
More detritus from a head stuck in an endless loop of lives lived in vanity and delusion. Every sun/son is somehow sheltered...somehow.
